Canvas
Canvas is Caltech's learning management system (LMS) for academic courses. The platform simplifies instructor tasks such as providing course materials, grading, and communicating with students, and students can access course content, submit assignments, and collaborate. AMT partners with CTLO and the Registrar's Office as part of the Canvas at Caltech team to provide support and resources.
GoPro Lecture Recording Kit
AMT offers an easy-to-use recording kit with a GoPro camera, tripod, and wireless lav mic, ideal for recording lectures on campus.
Canvas LTI Integrations
AMT supports various third-party tools in Canvas, known as LTIs (for Learning Tools Interoperability). Use the integrations when setting up your Canvas sites to automatically create linked LTI courses, sync rosters, and simplify student account creation and access.
Online Courses
AMT partners with faculty and Caltech's Center for Teaching, Learning, and Outreach (CTLO) in creating Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) on Coursera and edX platforms. AMT records and edits course lectures, creates animations, and generates transcripts.
