Michael Rice is a videographer, video editor and film-artist based in Pasadena, California. He earned his BA from Hampshire College (2007-2011) and his MFA from CalArts (2014-2017). Currently, he works as the Associate Video, Multimedia, Event Specialist at Caltech in Pasadena, California. As an independent video producer, he has worked on documentary style videos for a variety of world-renowned institutions, including the Getty Museum, Tufts University, the Harvard Business School, the Hammer Museum, the Benton Museum of Art, SCI-Arc, and many more. Michael has also exhibited personal films across the United States and abroad, notably the Iowa City International Film Festival, the Montreal Underground Film Festival, the San Diego Underground Film Festival, and the Milwaukee Underground Film Festival.
